Daniel Radcliffe: 'Robert Pattinson Had More to Deal With'
Remember back in the day when Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe were co-stars in Harry Potter? Well, since Pattinson has sky-rocketed to heartthrob status, Radcliffe doesn’t really envy his former co-star’s fame!
Harry Potter may be the biggest film franchise of all time, but Radcliffe opened up to Access Hollywood about how easing his way into fame made life easier for him, compared to Pattinson’s overnight success.

“I think he’s had to deal with kind of a lot more,” he said. “I had a very gradual easing in to the idea of fame, because I was doing the first two films back to back almost. So, while the whole Potter film franchise was exploding, I was in the studios filming and kind of unaware that this thing was going massive outside. Where as Rob, [he] was suddenly the most famous guy in the world. I think that’s a lot harder to deal with.”
One thing both actors have to deal with is keeping their love lives out of the public eye! Pattinson has struggled to keep his relationship with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart private and Radcliffe has been dating Potter production assistant Rosanne Coker.
Which actor had the best adjustment to fame? Daniel’s gradual success or Rob’s overnight fame?
