Katie Holmes to Appear on 'How I Met Your Mother'
Actress Katie Holmes has been booked as a guest star on an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother.
In the special Halloween episode Holmes will play a potential love interest for Ted dressed as a Slutty Pumpkin.

The show's co-creator Craig Thomas stated, "Katie is a lovely and talented actress, which is why we've saved her perhaps the most classily named character in our show's history." Craig also said that the Slutty Pumpkin role was "literally six seasons in the making."
