Yep, that's right, people, Katy is back on the market once again. The E.T singer went public with her relationship with Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd last month at the Coachella Music Festival, but the two have already called it quits, according to Us Weekly.

Katy Perry may be single, but that doesn't mean she has to walk the red carpet along. The 27-year-old Firework singer brought her grandmother, Ann Hudson, as her date to the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.

The duo were all smiles as they made their way down the red carpet outside the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday night.

Katy tweeted about her date, writing, "My date to tonight's Billboard Music Awards is hotter than the las vegas weather. SMOKIN!"
