Oscar nominee Naomi Watts has landed what very well may be the role of a lifetime: Princess Diana.

The film will focus on the final two years of Princess Diana’s life and pay special attention to her humanitarian efforts and quest for happiness away from the public eye. Watts may be totally perfect for the part, but she actually wasn't the first choice for the role!

Awards season is upon us, and while we anxiously await the People's Choice Awards tonight and the Golden Globes on Sunday, some of the biggest names in the film industry showed up to the National Board of Reviews Gala -- giving us a sneak preview of their styles for the season.

Eva Mendes and Naomi Watts have been named the new celebrity ambassadors for Pantene. Both of the actresses will appear in all elements of Pantene's marketing, which includes television commercials, print ads, in-store displays and iMedia.

Mendes will promote the Breakage to Strength collection while Watts will represent the Flat to Volume collection.
