We caught up with pro skater TONY HAWK at Knott’s Berry Farm’s Hangtime’s Grand Opening and rode on their brand-new rollercoaster, HangTime! Both HOLLYWIRE’s Eduardo and Tony Hawk had not been on the Knott’s Berry Farm’s newest ride yet! And they were both so excited to ride it together!

Tony Hawk was not at all scared! He says, “I’m used to doing vertical drops where I can easily fall off the device I’m on. So I feel very safe, I’m not going to fall off.” In fact, this taunting roller coaster may even be a little safer than what Tony is used to!

“Are you still going to have fun though?” Asks Eduardo. “Oh, it’ll be great! I’m here with family, so I get to see my kids. To get to do that kind of thing is super fun!”

We also had to ask, “What’s harder, skateboarding or raising kids?” Tony answered, “Raising kids is more challenging. I don’t want to say harder, because it’s worth it in the end. It’s nonstop, 24 hours. Skating is when you choose. Parenting always needs to be done.” He continues, “Ultimately it’s worth it to see them thrive.”
