Gabourey Sidibe

Gabourey Sidibe, Hayden Szeto, Grant Rosenmeyer, and Richard Wong from “Come As You Are” drop by to chat with us at the Hollywire X Smirnoff SXSW event in Austin, Texas at SXSW. We play Hollywords and find out they are all cat people; most own a cat of their own. The cast tell us a story about filming in the van, a location in the film. Gabourey was driving the van and they almost got t-boned by a man on the run from the police! She also tells us when she crashed her car while listening to JC Chasez’s album!

Jaylen Barron is in the studio paying Hollywire Polaroid! She tells us why she got into acting, her beauty routine, and her celebrity crush! She also tells us about her first kiss!

MAX Schneider

We chat with MAX on the iHeart Radio Music Awards red carpet! He tells us that he had to get surgery on his vocal cords and could not speak for four months! We also discuss his new music, coming out April 5th. The song is called “Love Me Less.” He recently went on tour with EZI. He tells us that his favorite part of the tour was playing in his hometown. MAX tells us that he loves monkeys and got to film with Crystal, the monkey from the movie “The Hangover.”
We also chat with Betty Who! She loves being on tour and on-stage. She gets very excited right before a show and brings that to the stage. She hopes people feel good about themselves after listening to her music.

Lance Bass

We caught up with Lance Bass in Austin, TX at SXSW! He was there with Aaron Kunkel to promote their film, “Boy Band Con.” We discuss when Nsync was created, the guys came together by friends introducing them and finally they sang “The Star Spangled Banner” together and knew they were going to be big! He was one of the first to listen to Britney Spear’s hit “Hit Me Baby One More Time” and he knew she was going to blow up. When they toured together they brought on Britney as their opener. He tells us that she was booed off stage, but by the middle of the tour she was a superstar! We also discuss Lou Pearlman’s involvement with the boy band, Nsync.
Lance Bass, you know him, you grew up with him, and now we can’t get enough of him. Lance Bass is a former N*SYNC band member who has taught us all how to pose, fall in love, and break it down on the dance floor. This multi talented star took his love for dance to the TV screen, entering in “Dancing with the Stars” and securing a top position in 3rd place. Unlike other N*SYNC members, Lance Bass is continuing to pursue a career in television and has been an inspiration for LGBTQ community memebrs around the world. We love you Lance.

Lauv

We speak with Lauv at the iHeart Radio Music Awards! We discuss his nomination and that he is performing at the award show! He tells us that he is working on his album right now. Lauv also got a new dog! His name is Billy and he is a teacup Pomeranian. he is excited to see Alicia Keys and John Legend. And he would love to work with Chris Martin.
Ari Staprans Leff, best known for his stage name, Lauv, is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. He is best known for his hit singles, “I Like Me Better” and “A Different Way” ft. DJ Snake. As a child, Ari was interested in all things music and would write love songs in his free time. In High School, he was in multiple bands and studied jazz, but then decided to change his interest in electronic music. After Lauv released the single “I Like Me Better”, he proceeded to go on tour with Ed Sheeran in 2017.
We also speak with Dylan Scott! He tells us that he is nominated for an award! And he tells us that he is excited to see Garth Brooks. Dylan has new music coming out soon!

Kelli Berglund

We chat with the cast of “Now Apocalypse” in Austin, TX at SXSW. We got to chat with leads, Kelli Berglund, Beau Mirchoff, and Roxane Mesquida. Kelli explains that she has all of her scenes with Avan Jogia while Beau and Roxanne have theirs. Beau got to play around while filming the scene with the photographer in the show. They explain that there are a lot of shooting things that happen on the show, but it seems scary on the page than during filming. They also tell us what their favorite things about their characters and the others. Kelli also reveals who her favorite character is on the show, Beau’s character!

Kim Dickens

We catch up with Kim Dickens in Austin, TX at SXSW. She is promoting her Netflix movie “The Highwaymen” alongside Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson. She mainly worked with Kevin in her scenes. She had an amazing time filming this movie! She reveals she is a big country music fan! She loves Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert. We also discuss her role in “Fear of the Walking Dead.”
Kim Dickens is known for roles in various television shows and feature films. She may be most recognizable for her recurring roles in multiple television series including Lost, Friday Night Lights, House of Cards and Fear the Walking Dead. The Walking Dead spin-off series led her to the nomination for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television in both 2016 and 2017. Kim has also made a name for herself in ensemble roles in movies such as Footloose, The Blind Side and thriller, Gone Girl in which she was nominated for the Film Critics Association Award for Best Ensemble in both Central Ohio and Georgia.

Cobra Kai

“Cobra Kai” is a new series in it’s second season that takes place 34 years after the original film, “The Karate Kid,” and an event in 1984 at the ‘All Valley Karate Tournament.’ The story follows the reopening of the Cobra Kai dojo by Johnny Lawrence and his old rivalry with Daniel La Russo. The show stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, and Martin Kove. They sum up season 1 in one word, awesomeness, victory, and triumphant. We discuss the fight scenes that went into season 2 and all of the training that went into it. They explain that they did not get a lot of time to train so that made things even harder and pushed the cast even harder. They spill that the fight scenes are going to be bigger and better than in season 1! The fan response has been amazing and the love has been revived for this movie and show. The three leads give us season 2 details and how the stakes are higher, new characters, and bigger fight scenes!

Lele Pons

We were lucky enough to chat with Lele Pons on the red carpet of the 2019 iHeart Radio Music Festival. She told us she was mostly excited to see Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift and we totally agree!! Lele told us that she went to a Taylor Swift concert and that she loves her music. Lele is killing the Instagram game with her hilarious videos and she said that her videos have even brought her closer to her friends. She couldn’t spill all of her secrets, but did tell us that she has some exciting collaborations coming up! Her one piece of relationship advice was, “Love yourself first!” we love that for us!!
