Shining Vale, an American comedy horror TV series created for Amazon Prime Video by Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan, aired for the first time March 6, 2022. Season one consists of 8 episodes in total. Not long after the series aired, it renewed for a second season.
Shining Vale follows a family that just endured a social catastrophe. Patricia Phelps is best known for being a former party girl and wild child. The family decides to move in order to restart their lives and rebuild their family. Though moving brings them more trouble than they ever could’ve imagined.
In the Shining Vale, they end up moving into a house that has had some horrible things happen in it. The only one that seems to think there’s something off with the house is Patricia. She ultimately comes to the conclusion that she must be possessed or extremely depressed. Though, just when she thinks she’s going crazy, the demons in the house begin to make themselves much more known.
