The Conners, an American sitcom TV series created for Amazon Prime Video by Matt Williams, aired for the very first time October 16, 2018. The series has since renewed for a second, third, fourth, and fifth season. The first season consists of 11 episodes. Whereas, the following seasons consist of 20 episodes each. The fifth season has not yet aired, though it is expected to air September 21, 2022. This series follows in the footsteps of the famous show Roseanne. Even though it does follow in Roseanne’s footsteps, the producer of this series has come forward and said that they will not be following along with some of the developments from the sixth season of Roseanne. This means that there will be a lot from Roseanne that isn’t crossed over to this series.
The Conners follows the lives of the Conner family. They are your very typical family that is working to their wit’s end just trying to get by and provide what they need. The family lives on extremely average incomes and a lot of the time struggles to get by. After the main character Roseanne passed away, the Conners family struggles to mourn her passing. This series shows the family’s daily struggles with just life in general. This is something the Connors have never dealt with before, and this series follows their whole journey.
