CSI: Vegas, an American crime drama TV series created for Amazon Prime Video by Jason Tracey, aired for the very first time October 6, 2021. The first season consists of 10 episodes. This series serves as a sequel to the original and very popular show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This series even has some of the cast from the original CSI. William Petersen and Jorja Fox step back into their roles as Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle for this series. There are also a bunch of different new faces in this series as well. Originally this series was supposed to be limited, but it ultimately renewed for season two. Season two airs September 29, 2022.
CSI: Vegas, follows the story of a huge threat that happens in Vegas. This threat has the ability to bring the whole crime lab down. It also has the ability to let thousands of killers roam freely onto the streets of Vegas. CSI: Vegas follows a team of investigators who work together and use all the different forensic techniques to get to their end goal. This team of investigators tries their best to follow the evidence that they find in order to save their city and get justice. Though, there have been countless amounts of spin-offs regarding the CSI franchise. This series is the one that they will consider an actual sequel to the original show.
Since CSI: Vegas aired, it has received an outpour of great reviews from critics. Many critics state that this series is absolutely phenominal. Because it gives viewers all of the things they love about the original CSI, even some of the character. They stated that they are able to bring some of the original CSI to light, while also not trying to hard. Overall, this series proves itself as a huge hit.
