Amber Heard was born in Austin, Texas.  Her parents are Patricia Paige (née Parsons), an internet researcher, and David Clinton Heard, a contractor. She has a younger sister, Whitney. Heard attended St. Michael's Catholic School in Austin. Her parents divorced when she was a teenager. Heard subsequently moved to Los Angeles with her mother. Since making her film debut in the sports drama Friday Night Lights (2004), Amber Heard has established herself as a versatile and talented actress. She has starred in a variety of films, including The Joneses (2009), The Rum Diary (2011), and 3 Days to Kill (2014). Heard also starred in the popular television series “The O.C.” from 2005-2006.
