Post Malone chose a stage name for a very young age. He wanted to be different from the rest of the people that existed in the industry. This would prove to be difficult for him as the industry was so Saturdays due to growing social media influences. Platforms like vine and Instagram were just coming to life making it difficult to make a break in the industry. First starting out, he became famous off SoundCloud. Again, this would be a very hard thing to do. Taking into account of how saturated the market was because of platforms like this. This also was a helpful tool for people like Post Malone because it was able to help launch his career to what it is today. He is well known throughout the world. He had two very big projects called beer bongs and Bentleys and Hollywood’s bleeding. These two albums are why Post Malone is famous today. He gains much success through these two albums. If you were to ask anybody that is a Post Malone fan, they would likely say that they are fans of these two albums or a song on one of these albums. With these two albums, Post Malone gained billboard fame and topped numerous charts for his work on these albums. And even as he was gaining success, he was able to stay in his fame through 2020 by collaborating and live streaming his music with other people. It really brought a likability to Post Malone. In 2021, he even worked with chip n dale, the movie which helped bring a new audience to his music. Post Malone became TickTock famous off of this work as it really took off on that platform. People like this music and even more people became aware of what he was doing and who he was as an artist.
