American Horror Story

American Horror Story, an American anthology horror series created for Netflix by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, aired for the first time ever October 5, 2011. Each season acts as its own miniseries. Each of the seasons has a different plot, with different characters, though they are all played by a majority of the same actors. This series has a total of 10 seasons, and they are all based on a different storyline.

The first season of American Horror story is Murder House. This series follows a family that moves into a new home that’s also inhabited by the ghosts of former homeowners that lived there throughout the years. This series is all about ghosts and a man in a rubber suit that wanders the house.

The second season of American Horror Story is Asylum. This season follows the lives of the staff and patients that are inside a local insane asylum. But it shows all of the scary things that happen in the insane asylum and some of the people that reside there.

The third season of American Horror Story is Coven. This season is about a coven of witches. But throughout the series you see these witches trying to defend themselves from enemies that are trying to take their coven down.

The fourth season of American Horror Story is Freak Show. This series shows the lives of a carnival staff also called a freak show. They all have something different about their appearance that make them a part of the freak show. It shows their lives and what they struggle with. It also shows the murderer Twisty the clown.

Those are just some of the seasons and different plots that American Horror Story has to offer. This series definitely knows how to execute horror in an amazing and entertaining way.

For the first season Rotten Tomatoes reported that 72% of 40 critics gave the first season a positive review.  The first season scored 62 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 30 reviews.

For the second season Rotten Tomatoes reported that 84% of 44 critics gave the season a positive review. It scored 65 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 23 reviews.

For the third season Rotten Tomatoes reported that 85% of 35 critics gave the season a positive review. It scored 71 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 24 reviews.

For the fourth season Rotten Tomatoes reports that 77% of 35 critics gave the season a positive review. It scored 69 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 19 reviews.

For the fifth season Rotten Tomatoes reports that 64% of 48 critics gave the season a positive review. It scored a 60 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 24 reviews.
