Killing Eve

Killing Eve, a British spy thriller created for Apple TV by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, aired for the very first time April 8, 2018. Not long after the first season aired, it renewed for a second season, which aired April 7, 2019. The series then renewed for a third season, which then aired April 12, 2020. Before the third season even aired, it already renewed for a fourth season, which aired February 27, 2022. The fourth season will be the last season of this series.

In Killing Eve, it follows Eve whose job is to pursue assassins. While in pursuit of an assassin by the name of Villanelle, they end up becoming completely obsessed with each other. After becoming obsessed with each other, it starts to make them stray away from what their initial missions were. After having a violent encounter, they being focusing on their separate missions, while also remaining completely obsessed with each other.

In Killing Eve, Villanelle works for The Twelve to kill people. Whereas Eve works to solve the killings that The Twelve is committing. This series follows all of their missions and how they end up in the same boat that puts both of their lives in danger. After taking a break from looking into The Twelve, Eve starts to look into them again after they kill someone that is close to Eve.

Critics stated that the first three seasons were full of thrill and were exciting to watch. Though critics stated that the fourth and final season wasn’t the best. Critics claimed that the show had gone on way too long and was getting boring. Overall, Killing Eve, though there were mixed reviews, received mostly good reviews.
