Money Heist

Money Heist, a Spanish crime drama created for Netflix by Alex Pina, aired for the very first time May 2, 2017. This series was supposed to only be a limited two-part series. That is until Netflix ended up picking it up in late 2017. It ended up renewing for another season which included part three and part four. Part three aired July 19, 2019 with a total of eight episodes. Part four aired April 3, 2020 with a total of eight episodes as well. In the summer of 2020 it renewed for a fifth part which was also the final part. The final part aired September 3, 2020.

On the show Money Heist, it follows a guy called the professor. This man gets a group of eight people who all have to create aliases for themselves. They have to choose the names of cities as their names. The create aliases for themselves s they can carry out a plan to get a lot of money. They have to go into the Royal Mint of Spain and take a whopping 984 million. In this building they end up taking 67 hostages when they enter the Mint building, which they end up staying in for 11 days.

They do this so they can print the money. After they complete this mission, they start planning to complete their second heist. This time they add some members to their team and are going for gold instead. The gold they are going for is inside the Bank of Spain. Upon executing this mission, they again hold people hostage.

Since Money Heist aired on Netflix, it has had a lot of positive reviews. This series actually was deemed the most followed series when it came to Netflix shows and stayed at the top spot for six weeks in a row. Overall this series has done extremely well since airing on Netflix.
