Roswell, New Mexico, an American sci-fi drama TV series created for Netflix by Carina Adly, aired for the very first time January 15, 2019. Since the first season aired, it had renewed for a second, third, and fourth season. Though, it was announced that the fourth season will be the last season of this series. All of the seasons in this series consist of 13 episodes. This series is one of two adaptations of the books Roswell High by Melinda Metz.

Roswell, New Mexico, follows the life of Liz Ortecho. In the series is shows her returning back to the town she grew up in, in order to take care of her father, who is no longer in good health. Upon her arrival back in her hometown of Roswell, she ends up reconnecting with Max Evans, who was her crush in high school. Since graduating high school, Max has become a police officer.

Since they reconnected in Roswell, New Mexico, their relationship has been amazing and sparks have been flying. That is until she learns Max has a big secret he’s been hiding from everyone. She learns that Max, as well as all of his siblings, are aliens. After learning about Max, Liz starts to find that it is extremely hard to keep such a big secret to herself. Though, it must remain a secret due to the threat that would arise if the government found out.

Since Roswell, New Mexico aired, it has received some negative reviews from critics. The critics have stated that this series is to similar to the other series that came before it. They stated that it was nice that they added some modern political context to the show. But that it was just way to similar to the other series. Overall there have been some good reviews and some really negative ones.
