'Transformers 3' Sets Box Office Records on Opening Day
Transformers: Dark of the Moon brought in $37.315 million on Wednesday, including $8 million from midnight grosses, giving the movie the year's best domestic opening. We're not sure if it was Shia LaBeouf's recent comments about hooking up with Megan Fox, all of the explosions or red hot Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, but it looks like fans are already amped about the action flick!
The third Transformers film beat the previous 2011 opening day record of $35 million, which was set by Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last month.

Overall, Transformers collected $69.8 million globally on Wednesday, with $32.5 million from overseas ticket sales, and if you include previews, the movie has earned $79.4 million. That's quite a pay day! Think Ms. Fox is kicking herself right about now?
Will you see T3 this weekend? We definitely will!
