Born in December of 1989, Taylor Alison Swift is a country-turned-pop singer and songwriter. From a young age, she exhibited a love for music and performing. As soon as she could form coherent sentences, she would sing along to the radio while pretending to play guitar. After stints in talent shows and performances at local churches, Swift was discovered by Scott Borchetta. He signed her to his fledgling record label Big Machine Records in 2005. Her first album, released when Swift was just 16 years old, made her the youngest artist ever to have a number one album on the Billboard charts. Taylor Swift is one of the most successful singers of our time. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she started her career as a country singer, but soon branched out into other genres. Taylor Swift is a huge success and she has released numerous albums and singles that have also been very popular. She is known for her catchy songs and her strong vocal skills. She has won many awards and accolades over the years, including 11 Grammy Awards. Taylor Swift and Kanye West's relationship has been long and complicated. It started in 2009, when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift's VMA acceptance speech to say that Beyonce should have won instead. The two have had a contentious relationship since then, but seemed to have put their differences aside at the 2016 Grammy Awards. They presented an award together and even hugged it out backstage. However, that seems to have all been for show, as the two had another public spat at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor Swift has many friendships in the music industry. She has been friends with Selena Gomez since they were young girls. Taylor has also been friends with many other celebrities, such as Cara Delevingne and Ed Sheeran. Taylor often posts photos of her and her friends on social media. She seems to really enjoy spending time with them.
